PD-1 Pro - Fixed-Wing VTOL Unmanned Aerial System, ready to fly modular solution that can be easily customized in the field according to any mission. Our system is packed with high-end technology, AES 128/256 encryption and anti-jamming technologies. PD-1 Pro can stay in the air for up to 7 hours with 7 kg payload and well-suited for surveillance, aerial photography, agriculture, search, rescue and public safety applications.
PD-1 Pro comes with advanced autopilot system which allows doing fully autonomous flights on the pre-programmed route, do specific actions (e.g. take photos at the certain point, turn on/off equipment on board when needed), do automatic take-off and landing, automatic launch from a pneumatic catapult, parachute recovery and much more.
PD-1 Pro equipped with quiet and reliable 2 cylinder 4-stroke engine with electric starter/80 W generator system that can automatically start the engine and power up all equipment on board during the flight. RPM, temperature and fuel level sensors come as standard equipment.
Modular design allows to easily and quickly replace all airframe parts, engine unit, payload, and other equipment on board. The aerial platform can be converted in the field from fixed-wing configuration to VTOL in just 15 minutes.
Payload area is big enough to fit dual-sensor gimbal and photo camera, any other similar equipment or a package delivery system (box for needed cargo (600x243x223 mm).
PD-1 Unmanned Aerial Systems are currently on service in Ukrainian Armed Forces. Our solution has received positive feedback from Ukrainian Army officers, drone operators, and intelligence agents
The airframe is our own in-house solution and composed entirely of composite materials (carbon fiber and fiberglass).

Brand new PD-1 airframe
We founded the company back in 2014, at the very beginning of Russian intervention in Eastern Ukraine. At that time, Ukrainian army had zero drones, that were ready for full-scale war deployment.
Drones, manufactured by foreign companies were excessively expensive. To add to that, it’s been technically impossible to import them to Ukraine, due to complex custom restrictions.
As soon as we realized this problem, we immediately began our own drones production. Partially borrowing features of misc recreational drones and quadcopters, and keeping close touch with our military advisors, we eventually managed to complete our first own unmanned flying vehicle. It was designed specifically for military purposes.
Just this past week has already passed in Kyiv the exhibition "Arms and Security - 2018", and today our drone PD-1 and other products are present at the Kyiv International Economic Forum 2018 @kyiveconomicforum.
Last week all Kyiv’s citizens and guests of the city had a unique opportunity to see the latest innovations from the military and aviation industry gathered in one place, at the “Arms and Security - 2018” exhibition.
It has already become a good tradition for Ukrspecsystems company to participate in the international exhibition "Arms and Security".
On the 24-26th of September, at the territory of one of the training areas of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, specialists of Ukrspecsystems had the opportunity to confirm the specifications of the PD-1 UAS at the scheduled training session.
